There is no easier way to connect a FOT to a tank, simply screw in the fitting from the outside and connect the FOT hose to it on the inside.
No need to cut another hole or mess around.
Your pump connects to the female outlet thread in the tank fitting which is 50mm female BSP.
I make these in Three sizes 25mm 32mm 40mm Complete with matching Hose End.
